cannot see thumbnails

The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):www.sound-insights.com/gallery
Gallery version:1.5.8
Apache version:?
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):4.2.2
Graphics Toolkit:Netpbm
Operating system:unix
Web browser/version (if applicable): explorer 7

After I upload pictures into the album and look again it shows no highlights and no tumbnails. any thoughts??

in the album folder it shows a zero length file for the pic.highlight.jpg and the pic.thumb.jpg files.

I can see no Galley? Did you remove it?

I decided to start over and will see if that helps. BTW... one of the problems I was having is that when I uploaded the files using Filezilla (FTP client) it broke my FP extensions. How do I set the folder permissions while in the Expression Web (Front Page) enviorment?
