Users cant "Add Album"

I have Gallery 2 installed and running in Joomla 1.015, but when i create a new user and they go to their gallery, there is no link that says "ADD ALBUM" OR "ADD PHOTO". All it says is "This Album Is Empty" .I have that enabled through the actual Gallery2 backend with the User Album module. It just seems like there isnt much you can configure through Gallery2 component backend in Joomla. |

If you can log on as an administrator and can add photos and albums in Gallery then it is probably a permission issue for other users. In the Gallery admin (not Joomla backend) you should check the permission settings for users as well as the albums. It sounds like they may not have the "edit item" or "add subitem" or "add subalbum" permissions set.

Yeah that was pretty much it. I though that I had the permissions set but it wasnt for the top level album
