Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version: 1
Apache version: 1.3
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): ?
Graphics Toolkit: ?
Operating system: ?
I didn't find any further help for admin password reset.
I put the file resetadmin into the folder gallery/setup on the webserver of my provider.
I set the permissions rwx for all.
I tried to use the config wizard: http://www.my-domain.com/gallery/setup
I get the following error:
Not Found
The requested URL /kunden/70315_80807/webseiten/serendipity/gallery/setup/index.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3 Server at triptoric.de Port 80
Don't know what do do now.
Please help!

Hi,
it was installed by a script.
So all what I had to do (long time ago) was logging in to my providers website and klick on a install button.
That's it.

Hello cherry,
some scripts remove the setup folder.
You could upgrade to a recent version on your own and then you have a new version AND a setup folder ;-)

Otherwise how could I put the 'resetadmin' file into that folder?
