my config is correct [test successful]. Uploaded the zip to the album I want the images in, unzipped, all images show when I look in ftp -
none shows up in the album, saying no images - but they are there.
I cleared the DB cache, did a rebuild thumbnails -
nothing
How do I get the images now in to the album, since they are sitting on the server in the correct folder?
the zip file was 30MB, and I hope I don't have upload with the slow upload applet all over again.
Help is appreciated.

Do you get any error messages? Are the thumbs broken or just not there? Try changing your image toolkit priority and rebuilding the thumbnails.
Site Admin > Toolkit Priority
If that doesn't work, are you able to upload images individually? Can you post a link to phpinfo? This link explains how
