The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):http://www.holzgreen.com/gallery
Gallery version:1.6 RC1
Apache version:
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): PHP v4.3.9 is OK.
Graphics Toolkit:ImageMagick
Operating system:Linux Centros 4.6 ??
Web browser/version (if applicable): IE7.0 and Firefox 3.0

When I try to change the album permissions by pressing the arrow keys I get a 'submit' was sanitized message and nothing happens.

Permissions are set to "view album" to NOBODY yet any logged_in user can see the images.

I also con not add or remove users to a group.

Same Server, different domain, http://gennasway.com/gallery
Gallery Ver.: gallery-1.5.8
WORKS... But I like the light box effect in 1.6
same user name and password if anybody wants to check it out.

Any help will be appreciated .

Hi:

Thanks for your response. RC2-svn-b14 did work with the permissions. It is however inconsistent with the lightbox effect. When you clicked on some images sometimes effect kicked in, and sometimes just got a new web page with only the jpg in it. This happened after replacing /gallery files with the 1.6-RC2 -svn-b14 and rebuilding the albums.

When I fresh installed 1.6-RC2 -svn-b14 and started from scratch with the albums, I did not get the thumbnails.

On a separate issue: php(s) running from pupups folder are inconsistent atleast with the IE7. Sometimes they popup, and most of the times they do not so I need to CTRL+Click to get a new tab, and I do not have any popup blocker.

I also get a file integrity error on file /js/wz/ws_tooltip.js

still http://holzgreen.com/gallery w/ same UN and PASS if you want to take a look at it

Thanks for your response

Hello,

i wonder why there are not thumbnails. I am not able to reproduce it on my system.

"some images sometimes" ...?
Please specify that.

What is "rebuilding the albums"?

The lightbox effect in IE looks really different (on my system).
Will try to fix this.

After upgrade when I clicked on some pictures it showed with the effect, and i could press next and next to see the other images with the effect as well; however when I got back to the thumbnail view and click on some of the other images that previously showed with the eftect showed as jpg only on a new html. JPG only nothing else, no navigation arrows or bars or anything else. I wish I would have kept the sit eas is but I went ahead and fresh installed RC2 over it.

I copied gallery files from RC2 to the existing one which was RC1. At that moment it said Album is not valid and needed to be rebuild or something in that fashion. I am sorry I did not pay too much attention to the message or the process since I did not know what to expect. I thought it was part of the normal upgrade process

Let me know when there is an update even a minor one. I do not mind to test it.

Thanks.

Hi,

@thumbnails: do you use Netpbm or ImageMagick? Please also tell me the version number of your graphictool.

@lightbox: I will investigate a little, but i just figured, that the Effect DOES look different in IE on purpose. I looked at the authors pagen (http://www.lokeshdhakar.com/projects/lightbox2/) and saw that Gallery 1.6 behaves like that.

ImageMagick-6.0.7.1-17.el4_6.1

How about the File integrity warning, is it something to worry about. For the file '/js/wz/ws_tooltip.js'

Quote:
One file is out of date, corrupted or missing.
45 files are newer then expected.
This should be fixed before proceeding.
Look at Check Versions for more details.

Your IM is very outdated! Its from march 2005 (!)
Are you able to upgrade?
It has also security issues. So please change the password of your Gallery admin password.

Hi:

Seems like this is the latest from Redhat/Centos. I would not be able to upgrade.

Thanks.
