gallery-1.5 fails to render images

hi,

I recently had to update apache/php/perl which went well.

The only problem was Gallery-1.5.3 not rendering my photos anymore. The page loads fine but no image is displayed.

I feel like it maybe a php package (the one rendering) that could be responsible.

I use imagemagick and pecl-imagick by default. I use Gentoo and rebuilt them but it didn't help.

Would you guys have an idea of which php package makes the image rendering for Gallery?
Have you guys experienced the same behaviour?
