G2 Advanced search works, 'regular' search does not..

..just knocking out the minor issues.

In the Gallery, entering a search and pressing enter just returns me to the web-site home page, i think because of a bad rewrite. this is the URL returned for a regular search:

http://mysite.com/index.php?g2_return=%2Findex.php%3Fq%3Dgallery%26g2_0%3Dgallery%26g2_itemId%323abc&g2_formUrl=%2Findex.php%3Fq%3Dgallery%26g2_0%3Dgallery%26g2_itemId%323ab8&g2_authToken=abc123&g2_view=search.SearchScan&g2_form[formName]=search_SearchBlock&g2_form[searchCriteria]=my+search+string&g2_form[useDefaultSettings]=1

Advanced-search from the gallery works fine, as does the standard and advanced gallery search from within Drupal ..

I am having the same problem, however I am using Drupal 6.6
