I have just installed and used the French version of Gallery. I have already detected several errors or at least uncorrect use of some French terms. I would be most willing to help in changing those for better ones.

For example in my main gallery, it says:
8 premiers albums. Absolutely incorrect.
it should say:
8 albums principaux.

I already help in the translation of another GPL software. But the translation of this one is a little bit wrong. Can I help you to improve it?

Maybe you both can work together ?
In both ways (alone or in team) just grab the lates ft_FR translation for 1.4.1 from CVS, do the translation and then send me the files.

Tim_j was right when he said i'm busy. I am now a manager of my company and this work need much time!

I prepare a translation update for 12/11/2003 and need as much as possible 'debug' or suggestions after this release.

Bonjour,
Ne parlant pas anglais je viens ici pour poser quelques questions,en vue d'un changement,voilà actuellement j'utilise coppermine mais je lis beaucoup de choses de positif sur cette galerie mais j'aimerai savoir si un site chez ovh et un autre chez free puisque l'installer sur ces 2 serveurs? Pour créer des vignettes j'utilise GD2 fonctionne-t-il avec menalto?Et aussi peut-on convertir coppermine en menalto (je ne voudrais pas perdre les données des utilisateurs)?

Download and install Gallery 2. Then visit Site Admin / General and set the default language to French. Good luck!

Bonjour tout le monde... j'ai besoin d'aide.
J'ai intégré le module gallery dans Php-Nuke et j'ai des problèmes avec les caractères accentués. J,ai pourtant configuré l'application en Français, mais ça ne fonctionne pas.
