Hi GersonJR,

i dont know if pt_BR differs much from pt_PT.
If yes, and you have time to spend some work....
I would be happy if you can make a pt_BR translation.

Regards and thanks,

Jens

Hi,

read the "READ THIS FIRST" topic.
Then read the translation howto in Dev Documents.

If you have still question, feel free to ask me :)

Hello,

the core part of pt_BR is 100%, yes.
Just the config is "only" 98.78% ;)

You can download the packages on Gallerys sourceforge page.

I installed G2 yesterday, migrated all my gallery to G2, an now I noticed it dont have all already translated...

Anyone has pt_BR for gallery 2.0.1?

I am an enginner, that loves to learn and I spent 5 hours yesterday, to noticed that I need to upgrade apache to make multilang module work, and I tried edit pt_BR file, but I was not sucessfull. If someone has a easy tutorial, I can translate it, and send the file to be inserted in gallery 2.0.1 package.

I forgot to say, I use on my server, lynux Red Hat. One of those ev1 value series server.

Thanks
Fagundes

translation instructions are at:
http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:Localization

and the pt_BR translation is incomplete indeed, just 15% done.

I want to help in the pt_BR translation, beggining with the Core module.
Wath is the better way? to use the .po file of our installation (2.1.2) or the file from the trunk? I found a newer file in trunk, with more strings than the actual, at http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/gallery/trunk/gallery2/modules/core/po/pt_BR.po?view=log
I think that using the newer file would be better because it can be used in newer versions, but if will function in the actual?

yes, you absolutely want to translate the latest files from svn. if you submit some translations soon they can be included in the 2.2 release.
