gallery i set up 1.6b26 but it doesn't matter - the same existed since maybe ...1.5.3, for quite a long time.
Anyone has idea how to switch/disable that damn character converting?

To achieve this, you have to use special numbers, i had thesame problem for turkisch words.

It is very strange and perversive way to work, I think you agree with me.

There should be normal fix or permanent update.
