Embeded video

I have tried to add the embed video module but after adding a youtube video link to an album via the applet, when I select to play the video the display simply displays an html page of the thubnail. Can anyone advise if I'm missing something obvious, the module seemed relatively straight forward to install.

No, not the remote applet. After installing the plugin, there is a tab available within the add item function within the main Gallery2 features. To add an embedded video it appears that all that is required is the video url as displayed from the youtube web site. If I add this a thumbnail appears in my gallery but clicking on that only displays the thumbnail in an html page. The plugin has a debug feature, I turned that on and no errors are shown.
