Can next/previous overlay image instead of resetting screen?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a setting that causes the image to "change in place" when hitting next/previous for an album. I hope this question makes sense. Basically if someone has scrolled the browser window down a little bit, hitting next seems to cause the whole screen to refresh causing the browser to show from the top of the page.
