Performance Tuning 2 "Quick" questions?

1. When "Performance Tuning" is set to "FULL Acceleration" (a.k.a. High Acceleration), do new items (items that are added to the albums and sub-albums during the acceleration period) still show up?
2. Is it possible to PERMANENTLY set acceleration, rather then pick a duration (max 3 weeks)?

On my gallery, I could care less if the view counts, etc. get updated or not, just so long as guests and users can view the images.

1. Yes
2. accelleration is permanent as long as you don't switch it off, the format of the http expire field is an absolute date and time (see Section 14.21 in RFC 2616/Sec 14)
