Common Album Permissions - Help please

I've tried having a play around with permissions and also searching for the answer with no luck so far.

I've currently got a G2 installation with various users being able to create their own albums and edit/delete items within them.

I now want to set up a common album for users to add photos into. Once added I'd like them to be able to edit or delete only those images that they have added. Whatever I do it seems to allow them to not only delete other users photos but also delete the whole album.

Any clues/suggestions would be gratefully received.

I don't think G2 will support what you want as-is. Items inherit the permission of the album they're created in. You'd need to write some new module to do what you want.
