Hi,

after installing Gallery 3.0 alpha 2, it won't start up. I get this message: "Gallery requires short_open_tag to be on."
How do I fix this problem?

Find and edit your php.ini file, look for the line containing short_open_tag and change its value from Off to On.

Sorry, I searched, but found no php.ini file in my Gallery directory or subdirectories. Could you tell me where to find it? Or should I ask my webhost to fix it?
