Hi all, i have seen that this question has been asked before - but i havn't found a definitiv solution for it. And the posts are already around 2 years old... so maybe there is already a solution for it. As mentioned in the subject - i want to protect albums so the guests can see the album - but get forced to a login page when trying to enter the album. I have set the core.viewItem Permission on the album for everybody to get the album to display, and removed all Everybody permissions on its childs. But i do not a login page when a guest tries to enter the album. The guest only gets an empty album. I am doing my own theme - so i have taken a look at the smarty variables available - to see if there is a variable which i could use to know if an album is public viewable or not - but havn't seen one (i do want to display a key symbol with the album if a login is requiered) I hope someone could help me with this regards, |
