Error message before install

Hi!

After copying the files to the server, if I open /../gallery3/ it drops an error message, but if i open /../gallery3/installer it starts the installation. Why is it doing this?

G3 is in the ALPHA stage of development. It hasn't even reached Beta and has a lot of finishing touches left to do.

See the README in your gallery3 directory

UPDATE:

Playing with a current SVN checkout, looks like that's been fixed, you now get redirected to the installer page. Please wait for the next Alpha release to be announced in the next day or two.
