unable to change url-rewrite plugin settings

Gallery version = 2.3 Developer:
PHP version = PHP 5.2.5
PHPInfo Link : http://tiko-online.de/phpinfo.php
Webserver = Apache/2.0.63 (Unix)
Database :5.0.67-community
Activated toolkits : see phpinfo
Operating system : Linux
Browser (e.g. Firefox 2.0):

Hi,
im using Gallery2 first time.

When im trying to change the url-rewriting settings by clicking this link in my menu

http://MY-HOMEPAGE.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.SiteAdmin&g2_subView=rewrite.AdminRewrite

i become automatic redirected to :

http://MY-HOMEPAGE.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.UserAdmin&g2_subView=core.UserLogin&g2_return=%2Fgallery2%2Fmain.php%3Fg2_view%3Dcore.SiteAdmin%26g2_subView%3Drewrite.AdminRewrite

which display : Login - Welcome Gallery-Administrator!

How could i change my url-rewriting settings ???!

Tell me the steps you have taken to instll and activate the module first. The you can configure it.
