Cannot define RSS feeds

Using Gallery 2.2.

I'm simply trying to generate rss feeds for my gallery, that's all. I just want to have a feed that will tell my viewers when I add new material to my gallery.

I have enabled the RSS plugin. When I go to Site Admin>Export section, RSS>List tab, Global list of feeds: I see "No feeds have yet been defined".

In the codex article about the RSS function, it says if the RSS block doesn't appear I may have to add it myself...but falls short of actually saying how to add it.

I'm begging for help on how to define the feed. Any input will be appreciated.
