I'm using the Slider theme. When i view an album it displays the thumbnails on the bottom of the screen. In order to display an image in the display view, i have to click on a thumbnail. In the examples i've seen, there is an image that automatically displays. That's what i want to do here as well. Can you tell me how to do that?

you do?? How? I've cleared my temp files, and cache and still nothing. Is there something else i need to set? It's been a long time since i've used Gallery and I'm still finding my way around with it.
ok one other thing i noticed, is if i click the 'fit image' button, the image disappears as well. Is there some place i need to set that?

Just clicked the link you provided.
I don't know much about this theme so 'fit image' means nothing to me.

Floridave:
Are you using IE?? I still can't see the default image using IE, and i've now used 3 different computers to test it on. If you look at the source code it shows the image should be displayed, however for some reason i can't see it.

no.
Now that I look with IE I see your issue.
I don't have a clue on how to debug this so unless somebody else come along or you can find the quirks in IE .....You will have to live with it or use a different theme.
It might have been reported in the forums before or in a bug report, but with development stopped for G2, so you might have some luck searching.
