Hi all,

I'd like to share how I fixed my problem, hoping it will be useful for others, too.

I'm creating a website using www.justhost.com, which installs Gallery 2.3 using Fantastico.

Thumbnails were not created. I noticed that the ImageMagick settings were wrong: the dir was set as /usr/bin instead of /usr/local/ImageMagick/bin
I fixed this and assigned ImageMagick the highest priority, but thumbnails weren't showing up. I then disabled the thumbsquare module, and rebuilt the thumbnails (from "maintenance") and this time it did work.

I hope justhost will fix the problem, but in the meanwhile I hope this manual workaround will be useful for other users, too.

Bye

I am desperately trying to figure out how to fix this. When I go to enter the DIR that you state in the ImageMagick settings, there is no path at all. Also, The plugin says its activated. However, if I deactivate and then reactivate, I get a slew of errors and it fails. Any ideas?

Thanks a billion and one your suggestion worked like a charm for Hostgator.com hosting except my path was /usr/bin/ but that bit about disabling Thumbnail squares worked.
