icon/text "ADD TO CART" instead of Item Action pulldown? (ZEN CART)

Really frustrated at this. I have G2 + ZC (going on 5th try). On fresh install of both, I can't get ADD TO CART icons to show on Carbon Theme. I've edited permissions to have "[zen cart] Add To Cart" for "Everybody" but still can't get anything up.

I'm not that great at editing div's and CSS (I can manage my way around though). I'm trying to manually add to a .tpl. Instead of having the <div class="buttonCart"> in the Navigation, I'd like to have it + text "ADD TO CART" under the description. Currently I have Item Actions under descriptions but I know a lot of people won't know to click the pull down.

Pardon my noobness, I just can't figure out the line to write.
