Problem with the Formatted URLs and Watermark modules working together

Hi guys,

I wasn't 100% sure where to post this so here goes:

I'm currently running gallery 2 with the Formatted URLs and Watermark modules installed. Both modules work independently, however the Formatted URLs that are in place for the full sized picture show the picture without a watermark (and I obviously want them to show up watermarked when people are posting them on other sites)

For example:

The Formatted URLs plug-in generates this picture:

But I want it to show this one (as it appears in the gallery)

Any ideas? it seems like it should be an easy fix...

Thanks!
Jeremy

Both images have a watermark that I can see.

http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Modules:watermark#Watermarking_Hotlinked_Images

You can also try to edit the photo or album settings to add a resized image with size = 100% and watermark resizes but not the full-size original.

Yep, I see "SupercarSaturdays.com". Unless that's not your watermark...

Perhaps you are seeing some cached version of the image from your browser?

Weird....I cleared my cache but still see one with and one without in firefox, I pulled up safari and that shows both as watermarked. I tried logging out of my gallery, cleared cache, and tried again in firefox (thinking it may have been an admin issue) but it still shows only one as watermarked.

Are either of you guys using firefox (even though I HIGHLY doubt it'd be a browser issue, prolly just something screwy on my end, but I'd like confirmation.

Thanks for the help!
Jeremy

I thought Firefox was the only browser available? What else is there? ;)

Yes, using FF

Like nivekiam I would have to search to see if I have a different browser installed.

So I hate to bring this back up, but I've asked 2-3 other people and they both say that this image (from the Formatted URLs plugin) does not have a watermark:

http://www.supercarsaturdays.com/gallery/d/938-1/IMG_0440.jpg

While this one (from the gallery) does:
http://www.supercarsaturdays.com/gallery/d/940-3/IMG_0440.jpg

I installed the Size Limit plugin if you think they could be related... I also think the example above may have not worked because the hotlink aspect of the watermark plugin does work...so when I posted them within IMG tags, it works while the links should (i hope) show the images without the hotlink effect.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Jeremy

BTW, your phpinfo link is still live. I'd probably take that page down.

Are you talking about the "SupercarSaturdays.com" watermark in the lower-right hand corner, written in yellow lettering?

If so, I can see that in both images. Empty your browser cache.

This is the URL to your image from formatted URLs (as you posted above):
http://www.example.com/gallery/d/938-1/IMG_0440.jpg

This is the URL from gallery (as you posted above):
http://www.example.com/gallery/d/940-3/IMG_0440.jpg

I can still see the watermarks on the images you originally posted too.

I tried emptying my cache and sending it to friends of mine on different computers who experienced the same issue...quite odd...

I deleted PHP info thanks
