G2.3: How to move photos with title, description etc (same server)

Our setup,

Gallery version (not just "2"): 2.3
PHP version (e.g. 5.1.6): 5.2.3
PHPInfo Link (see FAQ): http://malayalamgallery.oneindia.in/info.php
Webserver (e.g. Apache 1.3.33): 2.2.8
Database (e.g. MySql 5.0.32): 5.0.38
Activated toolkits (e.g. NetPbm, GD): GD

We want to move the albums between galleries which are installed on the same server. I have read,

Has the status changed anyway about moving the photos with titles etc? Moving it manually would be a laborious task
