Is this a standard option in Gallery 2

I like this set up for my gallery. Is this standard or do I need to get someone to script it for me? Thanks for the input.

Could anyone give me a bit of guidance. I have a friend who is willing to do the scripting but is unfamiliar with gallery 2. Could someone help set him in the right direction so he doesn't waste too much time and get frustrated with me?
