Problem with creating thumbnails/low-res images

Hey guys.

I'm a bit of a new user with regards to gallery...

I built the site below for my father. He's enjoying good use out of it though finding certain pictures aren't displaying as thumbnails or low res images (check the site below for the album 2005 for example..)

I SFTPd on the box and found that it seemed like if the file size was over 1mb there was no thumbnail/low-res image. The files are uploading fine through the remoteapp and through the manual process it uploads the file to the server but the progress screen crashes with a second to go and turns into a static page, but as its this process that's falling over leading me to believe its a gallery issue.

I tried doing maintenence > redo the thumbnails/los-res image option... The screen refreshes to what appears to be a progress bar, however it turns into a static page with the first bar orange and the word "done" in the status below. Nothing seems to happen!

Any advice would be great :)

First try installing and getting ImageMagick or NetPBM working. Once one of those are working, try rebuilding the thumbs and resized versions in that album.
