Hi, this is the best Galley in the world.
Im not able to upload videos, tried the 2 formats accepted, but it cannot complete the task.
In the log file the same error to FLV and MP4 format:
2009-07-06 14:09:26 -03:00 --- error: Uncaught Exception: @todo MISSING_FFMPEG in file modules/gallery/helpers/movie.php on line 116
Help please, Id love to use videos on my Galley.
Thanks,
Higor
ps: I tested on my localhost (Wamp/Vista) and my site (Linux)

See this thread:

And it's most likely not going to work on Windows.

Very sorry. Thanks for the answer, making a better search found this topic, and confused me a bit.
Finally tested this http://github.com/gallery/gallery3/zipball/master
- Vista: worked well, but the MP4 format don't, even the photos onmouseover icons, the black bar appears but the icons not (I did 3 installations to make sure).
- Linux (Web): worked well, but the MP4 format don't, the photos onmouseover icons ok!
Thanks again,
Peace from Brazil,
Higor

Can you file a bug about this? We'll investigate. Please include the version of ffmpeg that you're using!

Thanks for the answer, I downloaded today the latest and on my localhost WampServer on Vista Home the same problem, no onmouseover icons, FLV ok, MP4 not.
The Slideshow icon dont appear too, but the module is activated.
I dont know the ffmpeg version (I have K lite Mega Codec Pack that plays all formats).
No logs created, the MP4 is loading and playing but no image is shown.
On the web server (Linux) onmouseover icons ok, video only FLV format. Slideshow icon ok.
PS: with the G3 version located on sourceforge site the onmouseover icons and slideshow works well on Wamp, but no video FLV or MP4. Feel free to see in action www.plusti.net/g3

See my post about pretty much fixing all Windows based video problems with G3. It's worked perfectly for me on XP SP3.

The slideshow icon not showing would be related to this:
