Gallery version 2.2.3 My problem is this. When I post a link to a gallery on Facebook it adds code that is no longer relevant. The code has been updated on the HTML portion of my site, but gallery still posts the meta tage from my old index. (It has an invalid phone number). Does anyone know how I can cahnge this? I have looked all over the code on the docs in the gallery folder and I cannot understand why it is using meta tags from way back when, unless they were generated when the software was originally added. How can I change this? Any help greatly appreciated. THANK YOU> |

Meta tags from what? The only place that would be is in your theme someplace.

I mean the meta tags that were on my site originally seem to be shoting up on the gallery link when I post on Facebook. Facebook automatically goes in and culls the meta data and posts it as a note with the link.
I don't recall modifiying code in galley with the data that I posted on my html code. I may have though, but I can't find where it is if I did! It's been up a couple of years I think.

Look at the source of your page, I see a description meta tag there listing a phone number.
Dug a little deeper, checkout gallery/themes/carbon/templates/local/theme.tpl
