is there a way to restore my gallery2 album after its deleted??

Not from G2.
Ask your host for a restore of their nightly backup including the DB.
Or ask them if thay have a file system backup and use those to add the album again.

If they did a restore of the file system and the DB to before you deleted the items your gallery would have been as it was before you deleted the album/items. I suspect they might have done a DB restore but not a file system restore.

Fat Cow told me that there are spaces in my direcory path name which makes it error when trying to open. How did it ever work if that;s the case?

I guess on your host they don't have proper backups. I guess the lesson learned is don't press "OK" when asked if it is OK to delete.
