Watermarking Videos

I searched and read all the posts (really old posts), but I just want to clarify that I read the information correctly.

"Videos can not be watermarked because it would take up too much resources?"

If this is in fact true, then the video would need to watermarked in Vegas Video, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software.

If this is false, what are the steps to watermark videos? The same as photos I presume :)

Please advise :)

Yes, you'd need to watermark videos in some other video editing software. The watermark plugin works only on photos afaik.

There is a setting for FFMPEG that adds some film strips to the side of the thumbs it creates but does not watermark the movie.
