[ SOLVED ] Custom Fields Module, unable to update options?

Hello all, I'm using the Custom Fields Module, its been working fine except that I'm unable to update values in one of the list options I've set previously under Photo Fields. Is there a particular way you have to do this, do you have to delete the field and then re-create it or something? Thanks in advance, ps. Apologies in advance for double posting, I originally placed this under 'Troubleshooting and Problems' but as nobody has replied there after nearly 2 days I must have posted in the wrong category, sorry about that. |

No you didn't post in the wrong place. That's actually not a 3rd party module, so this is the wrong place
I saw your post, but didn't answer because I don't use or have any experience with the custom fields plugin and would have to install it to test stuff out and help.
Quick and dirty "fix" uninstall and reinstall the plugin. Though doing so will lose any and all data associated to it.

Oh right, thanks for letting me know. I'll probably give it another few days to see if anyone else has any experience of it then I'll then just have to try reinstalling it as you suggest, then re-input all the extra data.

So is it the data in the field you are not able to change?
Have you tried clearing the cache?
FAQ: How can I clear cached data?
Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
Have you tried a different browser? Different computer?

Well, the way I have it set up is with a couple of text input fields and a couple of select lists.
My problem is that I seem unable to properly modify the select list options...
Strangely its letting me change the items in the lists but its just that its only the old list options show up when adding or editing photo details.
I've just run all the maintenance operations with no effects on this issue but I'll check that FAQ link you posted and look into clearing the cache in more detail tomorrow, thanks for the tips!

I've figured it out, so in case anyone is wondering what it was... I had somehow made different settings for my album to the global settings. So by simply reverting the album to global settings my issue was resolved. Doh!
