Google maps zoom problem

hello
i have a problem with the google maps module.
it works fine, i updated it with svn, the gallery shows the correct position, but always the zoom is to far away. it shows half europe. i would like to have zoom level 3! i can change zoom level from 0-19 but nothing happens.

then click urlaubsfotos .... neuseeland ....every picture is tagged in this album.

i think there is a missunderstanding.

you will see the picture, under the photo location map of the whole north island of new zealand. zoom level ?? i dont know.
i must push 10 times the + symbol to see the right position in a more detailed map. i would like to have this always without pushing the + button.

in the general settings i used this:
Center On 0,0 this is always different ?!
Zoom Level 3 also i tried 8, 10, 15... nothing happens.
auto center: off
