Version: 3.0 beta 2

# Operating System: SunOS
# Apache: Apache/2.2.6 (Unix) PHP/5.2.4 mod_ssl/2.2.6 OpenSSL/0.9.8g
# PHP: 5.2.4
# MySQL: 5.0.51
# Server load: Unavaila

I try to upload an image to a newly created album (as admin).
I get this error: Upload error: 417

Any ideas what goes wrong?

The import of my old G2 gallery works flawlessly.

What version of flash are you using on your browser?
See if upgrading that helps.

It is the latest: Flash Player version 10.0.22.87
Running on Firefox/3.5

Nothing newer to get ;-)

Downloaded Firefox-3.5.1 today but that did not change the error.
Can't upload files (yet). Not from the latest code either ;-(
Hope this issue is being delt with.

Are you using any special security in your Gallery3 install? What's in your gallery3/var/logs files?

I have no special securities. Var is writable by webservd. so gallery3 has full account ;-)
I uploaded (or tried to) using the admin account. So this also is full access.
I have here three logfiles. Written right after the attempt to upload.
Hope this helps. If you want them compressed or otherwise delivered next time I need an address.

Can you PM me an admin username/pass on your G3 so that I can try to reproduce the problem from here? Maybe I can get a clue from watching the HTTP traffic go by.

More info, he's shinsui is using OpenSolaris as his client OS, don't know if that has anything to do with this:
