Seperator and border help

I'm new to CSS and at this stage I'm pulling my hair because i cant do something very trivial

I want to make the border single rather than double
I want to make a vertical separator between the description and the album thumbnails
I want to make the vertical distance between the thumbnails same as horizontal distance (currently in the theme customization menu i've set the vertical padding to 0 and horizontal padding to 20px but still they are far apart vertically then horizontally)

please help me where to make the changes
