Hi,

I'm new to Gallery, just installed and experimenting on 3 beta 2, but reading on forums and documentation I can't find answer to the question in subject.

Thanks, Cheers

No, they'll need to be re-written to work with Gallery 3.

Nope, I've seen a few people working on personal themes (some are very, very impressive) and only one person working on a theme they intend to share with the community, but too many changes are taking place in the code still to make maintaining many themes a real PITA. Right Serge D? :)

I think the default theme is pretty nice...I'm thinking of maybe modifying it a bit myself at some point.

I'd probably wait until we hit RC or final release unless you just want to start tinkering. But just copy /themes/default to a different directory like /themes/MyCoolTheme. Then edit theme.info to give your theme a unique name and description.

Then start hacking away at the files in /themes/MyCoolTheme/views/

If anyone knows how to code, I don't mind doing the designs. Here's an example of a clean G2 them I made: www.fighterjetz.com

Coding for G3 is a lot easier than G2. So if you have html knowlage then you are more than half way there.

I'm looking forward to some themes for Gallery 3. G3 is pretty good and new themes would boost its popularity.
