I just installed beta 2, and the admin password in the installation page doesn't work. Yes, I tried copying and pasting to make sure there wasn't a typo. The reset password link just brings up an empty box titled "Reset Password." If I knew the hashing function, I could insert another value into the password field in the database, but I don't know the function. Any suggestions? |

I fixed it. I got the md5 hash of the password the install page gave me, put it in the password field, and logged it.
FWIW, the password field contents in the database looked funny, beginning with a left square bracket ("[")

And another note: when I made a new user, that user's password was fine.

Please make sure you're using the most recent code, the experimental version is the current working code. There have been many changes since B2 was release:
