migrating from 1,5 to 2, from REMOTE site

Hello Forum
I have installed G2 on a new server, because the site is moving to a new and better server

is there a way to migrate the old gallery on the other server, to G2 on the new server ?

The old server has G1.5? You need to either move that to the new server and get that working or migrate to G2 first:

Ooops, sorry - it worked great, by just moving the images folder

Great! I wasn't sure if you needed to have a working install of G1, but now that you mention that it makes sense. All of the data for G1 is in your albums directory (user accounts, titles, descriptions, summary, etc). You can't get away with that in G2 or G3 :)
