Let's narrow this down a bit. Uninstall all of those plugins except for ImageMagick.

With only ImageMagick installed go to Site Admin > ImageMagick and click test settings. Does it pass or fail?

For that I wouldn't worry too much if you are the only person uploading images. Though, your host should upgrade to a current version of IM that has the security patches.

However, since IM is working and passed all the tests. Now just go to Site Admin > Maintenance and run the task to rebuild thumbs and resizes. Your images should start popping in there now.

I don't know if that's a mirror or not, but the offical site is here:
http://www.imagemagick.org/

Looks like what you grabbed should be the latest version.

As for updating. I have very little experience with that. I run Debian on my server and just type apt-get update, look and see what's going to change, then type apt-get upgrade and my system is up to date with everything that's current in the Debian repository for my version of Debian. When I installed IM, I simply typed apt-get install imagemagick :)

Shell access is required to install/upgrade IM. If you don't have shell/ssh then you will have to rely on your host.

stobbsc, STOP POSTING IN MULTIPLE THREADS THAT YOU DIDN'T START ASKING THE SAME QUESTION "still" have no thumbnails? You've only been a member on these forums for 1 hour and 10 minutes and posted your question to 3 different threads that already existed.

That's a HUGE waste of our resources. I've already answered you in one of your posts. Check that:
