Password for every album

I'm using just now this gallery and itìs very wondefoul!
I would to insert a password for every album, it's possible to do?
If this gallery doesn't have this feature how can I do a similar thing?
Example:
ALBUM 1 -> user: user1, password: 123456
Album 2 -> user: user2, password: test

You can help me?

No, someone would need to create a module for that.

You would need to write it or wait for someone to write it. That module does not exist yet.

As for guidance on how to write it, we're working on documentation, so we should have some pretty good docs by the time G3 is released.

You know how can protect my album (directory) with htaccess? Should be an idea?

G3 uses .htaccess to protect each album if you set permissions on that album. The htaccess redirects to a proxy files to verify permissions.

Edit permissions on each album.
Album options -> edit permissions.

but by editing permissions, i cannot set an individual password for every album like i could in gallery2. i can only set permissions for users that are already set up.

i hope that there will be an option to set an individual password for every album like in gallery2, without the need for setting up individual users...

Someone will need to create a "password_album" module, just like in G2. In G2 it's not a standard option either.
