auto create albums from folders and auto update

Dear guys

I love gallery and have used it as it is intended.

This time I have a different scenario. I have a couple of IP cameras dumping jpgs every 5 mins into a remote FTP server.

I would like to use gallery to view such images. I checked the webcam plug but does not archive, and the upload from link or server plug, but is not automatic.
The cameras create a new folder every day and then one more folder per hour, then save the jpg.
I would love to have gallery read from the folder and create its albums. I can have the cams dump in any particular path, so manually creating one album per cam is no problem.

I tried other gallery scripts, that read from path to create thumbs and display, but do not have the users/groups functionality of Gallery.

Any ideas comments or suggestions are welcomed.
