Description Block (Captions)

What use is the 'Description' Box in the 'Captions' screen?

I can't see anywhere to use it/make it show in my Album admin pages.

I use the 'Summary' to give the picture description, but would also like to show the Description below it in my Albums with text such as who sent it me to post etc.

Description shows up at the top of the page. So the description would show up when you are looking at the photo page.
