Gallery URL = http://www.stronge.org.uk/gallery/main.php Which Imagemagick binary do I download for a Linux server? Sorry for these simple questions but I have tried downloading the Linux binary, extracting it, then uploading to the server but the Gallery module can't find it. I looked in the Gallery support and looked on the ImageMagick website but nothing seems to cover the basics? Thanks Mark |

You need to be root to install ImageMagick on the server. Contact your host.

Many thanks - so to spell it out for me, I HAVE to install it in the usr/bin directory?? Reason is I tried to install to usr/bin, but access was denied - take it this was the host doing this.
Thanks again

Your host has to install ImageMagick on the server. I haven't seen decent static ImageMagick binaries. The only ones I've seen are for binaries that are years old and out of date and don't work with Gallery.

I tried installing the Google Maps plugin as many of my images are now geotagged by my cameraphone.
While trying to install the maps plugin, there is an error relating to imagemagick - do I need imagemagick installed to get the google maps plugin to work?
