Without .htaccess?

Is there a way to use Gallery2 without .htaccess? We're on Yahoo! Small Business and they do not allow me to modify that. If not, can anyone recommend another program to use? |

There are people who have used G2 on Yahoo. .htaccess is only required when wanting to use the URL Rewrite method. And even then I think there might be an option to use PathInfo and not use .htaccess. However, main.php will always be in the URL at that point.
