I was taking a look at the mysql tables generated by Gallery, and began to wonder - excatly which table holds the actual image? I mean if I wanted to extract the image - say if my oroginal was lost - how would I get my image out of mysql?
None of them do. There is no binary data stored in the database. The images are stored in your g2data directory.

Thank you for reminding me what an idiot i am. I should ofcourse have known that since I installed the gallery, even if it is a while since I did.
Still, thanks for setting me straight!

You're not an idiot. I live and breath Gallery so it's totally understandable that someone who doesn't will forget how it's setup
Don't ask me questions about G1 as I've forgotten most of what I knew about it. It would probably take me 10-20 minutes to figure out how to change colors of something
