When I try go to modules page (http://www.example.org/index.php/admin/modules), I see this error:
Dang... Something went wrong!
We tried really hard, but it's broken.
Hey wait, you're an admin! We can tell you stuff.
Help!

Yes. Gallery is almost normal. Problems appear to be two pages: previously mentioned modules page and upgrade page.

In phpMyAdmin or other DB admin tool see if you can get the version of the gallery module in the database
"select * from modules where name='gallery'; "

It says that gallery module version is 12.
Yes, I have a few contrib modules.

Perhaps that is the issue.
Any clue in the upgrade logs?
Other than that I don't know. See if starting over from a recent experimental version helps.

I think that there are duplicate session in sessions table. I truncate this table and this error is now gone.

I deleted tagsmap module and upgrader seems work now.
