the gallery photos are not displaying and i cannot upload new images to an album I have created. Just says the file is corrupted yet its not since I view it just fine on my PC. No errors or so logs since there isnt any error logs that I can find. The upgrade beta 3 was working just fine then it all went BLAH out of the blue. |

There are no error logs in gallery3/var/logs?
I'm getting a 404 when trying to browse to gallery3/var/albums
GoDaddy.... Good luck if you're on one of their shared hosting plans. Last we heard they weren't using Apache 2.2.x on those plans.

oh hmmm ill take a look in there.
As for go daddy, i never have problems with them. going on 4 yrs using their service and been using gallery there and all.

It very well could be versions of software running on GoDaddy's servers.

If the server to server connection is lost we can't control that.

the page itself says it is there but no images will load up.
but in the FTP its not there even thumb nails n etc... Its never been there even since I had started uploading photos when i started from scratch. There has never been an album folder or so in the /var/

Because that will tell us about your PHP environment. Good luck dealing with GoDaddy support. Just be aware, G3 is not supported on Apache 1.x

They think something happened to some of my stuff and it disapeared for no reason. Hopefully their archives go way far back so they can restore my missing stuff! Will keep ya guys up to date. Wonder why some stuff would just go up n poof. I didn't delete anything since I know its a PITA to redo everything plus the files n etc relys on other stuff. sorry for typo... hoping phone in one hand with godaddy and typing with the other...

Ive been using gallery 1, 2 and 3 (before it went to beta and till current) never had any apache problems.
The guy said apparently someone deleted those three folders of my images and etc. But I told him no one has my FTP password and doesnt use my FTP program. Guess I will need to password my FTP program and change my password for everything on godaddy just incase.
Doing the restore right now since he took me step by step. He said that they were deleted on Sep 5th.
The gallery is slowly coming back to life... wooot! Thank goodness GoDaddy was helpful to find out the cause and still had them in their backups.

Then you have been lucky with G3. Perhaps your version has 'some' of the features required, perhaps not.
Apache 1.x is NOT supported.
