Hello!

I'm trying out G3 (git version updated today, 090926). I have a big problem with permissions.

This is what I have done before

Root album, Gallery:

Everybody, no permission

Year 2009:

Everybody, no permission

2009 > Special Occasion:

Everybody, view all versions

This makes a guest user that knows the URL to the 2009/Special_Occasion album able to view the album and all content.

If I set the same permissions in G3 I get this when I try to visit the URL as guest:

http://xxx/gallery3/index.php/2009/Special_Occasion

Dang... Something went wrong!
We tried really hard, but it's broken.

Talk to your Gallery administrator for help fixing this!

How do I fix this in G3?

In G3 if you hide a parent you can't have the children visible.

Root album:
Everbody, no permission
Registered Users (or another group), View

Year 2009:
Everybody, no permission (inherited from parent, can't change without changing parent)
Registered Users (or another group), View

Special Occasion:
Everybody, no permission (inherited from parent, can't change without changing parent)
Registered Users (or another group), View

This will require someone to login and have an account. Right now there is not a "hidden" album module for G3.

BTW, that dang page is being worked on to be more friendly. How the end behavior is going to be I'm not sure, but I've asked the group and given my opinion.
