Permission question

Hello, I have recently installed Gallery, and the Gallery module for Drupal 6 and had a question involving permissions. I have been looking around the admin side of Drupal and don't see a lot of ability to customize who can post to the various galleries. Is this possible? More importantly, a group that I have given full access to the gallery (an admin group), actually doesn't have the "Add a Photo" link on the main page. However, anonymous users do. Where do I head to set these types of permissions? Sorry for the basic question, but I don't see any place where I can set this, as I have looked in the Drupal permissions page, and the Gallery page (which is more concerned with user sync and whatnot).
