I've created another Carbonized looking theme based on the "Default Theme". I've tested this with Beta3 and Firefox Browser and seems to work all OK. if you find issues please let me know and I will try and fix or you can change css elements and post file here ;)

Those art installations photos are cool. The mangled lorries looking like a caterpillar is fantastic.
Are they from the burning man festival?

smashkins,
Thanks for that.
I have created a skeletal codex page:
http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery3:Themes:smk
feel free to add some flesh to the bones.
You might have to login using the same username/password as for the forums.

smashskins, great theme, it seems that everything works so far. The only suggestion I have that it would be nice to provide more space for customized logo. I see that you have used logo.png from the lib rather than override it from smk/images. Is that possible to change so you don't have to change the logo in default theme? Also I would like to have longer and perhaps narrower logo.png displayed, all across the length above the tabs reaching the column with Album Info. Is there anyway to do that? Thanks for the great work. William

wbarek, thanks for your suggestions.I agree with you. I forgot to change logo style and the logo path because this theme is under construction for me too. i have to improve it because there are some elements that i have been time to develop
i'll release new versions on the next days!
given that i'm writing here now and i'm not a professional webdesigner i'd have some stupid questions :
where is the css element (on the Default Theme) that describes First, Previous, Last and Next buttons background ? i don't find it...
where is the css element (on the Default Theme) that describes option intems background ? In this moment i have a white line that you see in this image and that i'd change..
Thanks for your suggestions !

smashkins, I wish I could help you there, myself I have no clue about writing css,php or any code, otherwise I would attempt these things myself. Unfortunately, my contribution to G3 effort, which by the way is fantastic, is only as a testing user . Thanks William

smashkins, Check out Firefox with the Firebug extension installed. It makes inspecting elements of the pages sooo much easier.

Just tried it in FireFox 3.6.9 (latest stable version) and it doesn't display properly. I've attached screenshots of the views I get as a guest and after logging in...
Just in case it's not obvious by the shots when I logged out I had troubled logging in again since the login link didn't show up, luckily I did take a mental note of the URL to the login form and called it up manually but others may not do this and be permanently locked out :/

Unfortunately it appears that the author has abandoned this theme. Maybe someone in the community who likes it will take on the work of maintaining, but unless that happens it's probably going to fall by the way side. There have been many many changes since B3 was released over a year ago.
