New Members... need help please

How do I make it so new members can post replies but can't post links or make galleries ?
I've looked all over and can't seem to find what I'm lookinbg for.

I can moderate things but I need to make sure that no-one can mess with my galleries... They can make comments but no messing around by making their own galleries and flooding my server with photos... ya know what I mean ?

Secondly... I would like to post in HTML. How can I do that without allowing everyone that posts to do it as well ?

Click on Edit Permissions and set the permissions to allow people to do what you want them to do. Like adding comments, but not adding albums or sub-items.

Post in HTML? Well that opens up a security risk, but go to Site Admin > General and there's a setting there to allow that.

That was a big help. I got one last question.
I want to add some graphics to the bottom of my gallery but can't find the footer template.
Could you please tell me how to find it ?

There isn't a specific footer template and it would depend on which theme you're using. If you're using the default Matrix theme, it would probably be:
/themes/matrix/templates/theme.tpl

That has the basic layout for the entire page (header and footer)

You'll want to read up on this and make sure that your cache is cleared after you make changes to templates:

Oh ! I think that is the same file where I added my header logo.
